Legacy Gallery is excited to present our annual group show “Legacy Of The Southwest”. This long running show brings together many of our gallery artists for an evening event that is always exciting. Participating artists include Laura Robb, Dan Young, Tom Dorr, Gayle Nason, Mary Qian, Joni Falk, Greg English, Dick Heichberger, Trevor Swanson, and Alvin Marshall.
Scottsdale Salon of Fine Art
Opening Reception: November 7, 2013, 7-9pm
Legacy Gallery is extremely excited to announce our third annual Scottsdale Salon of Fine Art. The opening reception on Thursday, November 7th, during ArtWalk, will kick-off the weekend long events of Scottsdale Fall for the Arts. This competition will feature the top 100 of the finest in representational figurative, portrait, still life, floral, landscape, interior, wildlife, and western themes. The competition is open to all two dimensional artists in traditional style. The Salon will take place in Legacy Gallery’s 10,000 sq. ft. upstairs gallery. There will be cash prizes including an $8,000 first prize for Best of Show. Artists may submit through Café, www.callforentry.com. Marina Dieul & Hsin-Yao Tseng “International Artist Duo”
November 8, 2012, 7-9pm
On Thursday, November 8th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm we will have a show for two international artists, Marina Dieul who is originally from France and now resides in Canada and Hsin-Yao Tseng who was raised in Taiwan but now lives in San Francisco. Both artists have been recently awarded with being a finalist at the annual Portrait Society of American International Competition. Their styles are very different from one another but their contemporary flare on people and places compliment each other nicely. Hsin-Yao Tseng’s subject matter ranges from his edgy urban landscapes to his soft figurative and still-life work. While Marina Dieul paints ultra realistic whimsical subject matters of cherub like babies, rabbits, mice, and other small animals.
Kenny McKenna “One Man Show: A Centennial Celebration of Arizona”

On November 10th from 2:00- 4:00 pm, Legacy Gallery will be celebrating Arizona’s Centennial with an exhibit of landscape works by artist Kenny McKenna. This show is in correspondence with the inaugural year of Scottsdale Fall for the Arts weekend. The show will encompass the iconic southwest landmarks like the Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelly and Spider Rock. Kenny McKenna’s work is included in many national shows including the Nature Works Wildlife Show & Sale and the Gilcrease Museum’s Miniature Exhibit in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The show will take place after the Scottsdale Fall For the Arts Quick Draw.
11th Annual Holiday Small Works Show

All will be sold by a draw or silent bid on Dec. 6th at 8pm
On December 6, 2012 we will be hosting our 11th annual Holiday Small Works Show. This show features Legacy Gallery’s top painters and sculptors and their ability to create something small, no more that 12” X 16” to be exact. The show will highlight every subject matter including western, still life, landscape, figurative and wildlife. Some of the many artists include Ken Carlson, G. Harvey, David Mann, Kyle Polzin, Gary Lynn Roberts, Jason Rich, and Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt. We hope that you will be able to come to this wonderful Holiday event. It is a great opportunity for the art connoisseurs or the first time collectors to purchase a small one of kind piece of art.
