Galleries offering additional safety measures, private appointments and more

The Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) is pleased to announce that the Scottsdale Arts District and many of its galleries are open for business. In an effort to ensure the health and safety of gallery patrons, each SGA member gallery has put additional safety measures into place including scheduling private appointments.

“We are thrilled to welcome back our art community and would like to offer patrons peace of mind by ensuring them that we have done everything we can as an association to help them feel safe and comfortable returning to our Arts District,” says Scottsdale Gallery Association President French Thompson. “We are grateful for all the loyal art aficionados from the valley — and around the country — that continue to support our local galleries and artists.” The following galleries are open with the following safety protocols:

Amery Bohling Fine Art
7100 E. Main Street, Suite A
We are currently open using flexible summer hours. All gallery employees will don masks when visitors arrive, and we request visitors wear masks as well. Hand sanitizer is available. We also provide virtual consultation for consignment requests. Please call for an appointment if we are not open when you walk by.

Anticus
3922 N. Scottsdale Rd
Anticus is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m., with additional flexibility for evening summer hours, and by appointment.

Anticus does not require masks. However, employees are happy to wear a mask upon request.

Bonner David Galleries

Bonner David Galleries is happy to report that no one on our staff has tested positive for COVID. We have been following CDC guidelines to maintain the health and safety of our visitors, collectors & artists.

A mask sign is posted, we request you wear a mask, and hand sanitizer is always available on site.

Carstens Fine Art

Open by appointment and for ArtWalks on Thursday evenings. Opening for regular hours beginning March 22, 2021.

French Designer Jeweler

Gallery employees wear masks and request that patrons wear masks as well. Hand sanitizer and masks are available at the front door. All jewelry is sanitized after it has been tried on or touched. In addition to our regular hours Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., we are open for the weekly Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Gebert Contemporary

Gebert Contemporary’s two level gallery offers ample space for easy social distancing while viewing art. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

J Klein Gallery
7136 E Main St
J Klein Gallery is open for visitors. All team members will follow the appropriate precautions and practices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Arizona Department of Health Services.

King Galleries
7077 E. Main St., #20
Now open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and for private appointment as well, King Galleries’ employees wear masks and have masks, gloves (if desired) and hand sanitizer available for patrons. Social distancing is observed including limiting the number of guests in the gallery at a time; private viewing appointments can be scheduled upon request. All items are packed and shipped in house in accordance with health standard requirements.

Larsen Gallery
Open for regular gallery hours Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. With our 5400 square foot space there is plenty of room for social distancing and we are following the protocols for sanitizing the gallery before and after each visitor.

The Legacy Gallery

Now open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, The Legacy Gallery offers 17,000 square feet of viewing space, making it ideal for social distancing. The Gallery’s Scottsdale Art Auction is now open for viewing, and the Auction itself has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 13, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

River Trading Post

To prepare for visitors into the shop, we have disinfected all hard surfaces, and replaced our wooden chairs with plastic to ensure they can be wiped down after each customer. All employees will wear masks, and will use gloves or finger cots to handle merchandise as well as wrapping materials.

For the comfort and safety of all, we ask that all guests wear a mask, and respect social distancing. We also ask that items not be handled without assistance so we may disinfect or place items in a “time out” as needed. Masks, hand sanitizer and gloves will be on hand to ensure that each guest has the necessary supplies to honor our requests and respect the health and safety of all our visitors and employees.

River Trading Post is open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and by appointment.

Signature Gallery

Signature Gallery is now open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with enhanced sanitation efforts including offering hand sanitizer for guests.

Brennen Fine Art is open throughout the off-season from Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are taking appointments on all other days and we can accommodate most schedules.

Wilde Meyer Gallery

With a soft opening on Friday, May 8, Wilde Meyer Gallery officially reopens Friday, May 15. The Gallery sanitizes all surfaces and commonly touched areas frequently, and staff wear masks. Masks and sanitizer is available for visiting clients and social distancing is observed. Gallery hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Xanadu Gallery
7039 E. Main St., #101
Now open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. for ArtWalk, and by appointment. Also available 24/7 at art.xanadugallery.com. Xanadu Gallery is observing mask and social distancing requirements as well as using enhanced sanitizing protocols. We look forward to seeing you soon!
