About Amery Bohling Fine Art
Amery Bohling, an Arizona-based artist who grew up in the state, is best known for her captivating paintings of the Grand Canyon, but her love of the West is revealed in all her work, whether waterfalls in California or seascapes in Cabo San Lucas. Like Maynard Dixon and other great Western artists before her, she often uses the plein air technique she learned while studying in Provence, France, leaving her downtown Scottsdale studio behind to draw and paint in the landscape itself, where she can best capture the ever-changing light.
Her talent and passion have been recognized by publications such as Western Art Collector, Southwest Art Magazine, Plein Air Magazine and Phoenix Home & Garden, who have featured her work. She is especially proud that one of her Grand Canyon paintings was selected for the cover of Arizona Highways‘ February 2019 issue, which celebrated the Grand Canyon’s Centennial. Bohling is also a member of Oil Painters of America, California Art Club and the Grand Canyon Conservancy.
