WHAT: The Best of Scottsdale® - The sixth annual celebration of the art scene in Scottsdale Downtown, with specialArtWalks every Thursday night throughout February. Famed galleries will feature the best of their Arizona-based artists throughout February. Best of Scottsdale month culminates on Thurs.,Feb. 25 when You Are Here Scottsdale presents the Best of Scottsdale ArtWalk, sponsored in part by Sunrise Bank of Arizona.

WHO: The Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) and the City of Scottsdale will be joined by many of Scottsdale's finest galleries for special Thursday ArtWalks throughout February. The public is invited to "ArtWalk the Line" every Thursday night, 7 to 9pm, and join in on the Best of Scottsdale ArtWalk finale on Thurs., Feb. 25.

WHEN:
• Throughout February - Best of Scottsdale Month
• Feb. 25, 7-9pm - Big Best of Scottsdale ArtWalk with great music, free restaurant samples from Grand Lux Cafe, prizes, and more!
• Feb. 25, 7-10pm - Best of Scottsdale ArtWalk Soiree, a VIP fundraiser gala for the Arts District, hosted by You Are Here Scottsdale at Calvin Charles Gallery on Marshall Way. Live music, fine wines, great food, a grand door prize worth more than $500, and more! Ticket details at 480-588-9505.

WHERE: Scottsdale Arts District in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona
Scottsdale ArtWalk and dozens of colorful galleries are located along Main Street, Marshall Way, Stetson and Sixth Ave., just west of Scottsdale Rd., and north and south of Indian School Rd.

MUSIC: Entertainment is sponsored in part by Grand Lux Cafe and Scottsdale C.A.N. The lineup for Feb. 25 includes: country-rock standouts Wildfire, flutist extraordinaire Sherry Finzer, neo-classical pianist Elijah Bossenbroek, pop songstress Ree Boado of Dearspeak, the Soliloquies songwriter showcase, and others...

TREATS: Free samples from stellar Scottsdale eateries will be featured during the Best of Scottsdale ArtWalk...with treats from Grand Lux Cafe, Icelandic Glacial Water and others.

PRIZES: All ArtWalkers can enter to win prizes during the Best of Scottsdale ArtWalks. Prize drawings include gift certificates from Lulu's Cupcakes and others.

WHY: Net proceeds from Best of Scottsdale sponsorships will benefit the Scottsdale Gallery Association's Art Education Fund.
